Content Guidelines

Last updated: August 2026

slowcolor lets people contribute photos and colors to a shared, public map that everyone using the app can see. To keep that space usable and safe, the following applies to anything you post.

Not allowed

We have zero tolerance for content that violates these guidelines.

Reporting

Any photo on the shared map can be reported directly in the app. Reported content is automatically removed from public view immediately, pending our review — it doesn't stay visible while under review. We check reports and, if the content violates these guidelines, it is removed permanently and the responsible account may be restricted or removed.

Blocking

You can block another user directly in the app. Once blocked, their contributions no longer appear anywhere in your view of the map. This is independent of reporting — you don't need to report someone in order to block them.

Appeals and contact

If you believe your content was removed in error, or you want to report something outside the app, contact hello@slowcolor.app.
